ODOT announced today that they have a new state map out to replace the 2007-09 model.

(I already checked, the 2011 map has yet to make its way to ODOT's website, so don't waste your time)

On the flipside, the webpage listing all the archived maps has disapeared.

Heck, there used to be portal for historical photos from ODOT/DOH (though 1/2 the photos were misidentified) that has also disapeared.
Found the photo archive: http://www.odotonline.org/photoarchive/

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

ODOT routinely changes their directory structure roughly every 6 months. Historical maps can now be accessed at http://www.dot.state.oh.us/Divisions/planning/techserv/prod_services/Pages/TransportMap.aspx.

I don't doubt it. They are not the best at keeping their internal links up to date when restructuring. Usually requires a lot of trial and error to find the page you are looking for when they do one of these restructures.

Just saw that Ohio does have the map up online. http://www.dot.state.oh.us/maps/Pages/TransMap11.aspx

I plan on taking a trip through Ohio this weekend, so I will be hoping to get a new map myself...I guess I'll see.

Looked at the Toledo inset...still have Exit 11 on I-280 marked at Central Avenue...that exit has been gone since the late 1980's - it is now at Greenbelt Parkway.  Speaking of Greenbelt Parkway, it STILL doesn't exist according to ODOT - not even marked on the map!  They did manage to extend OH-65 back across the Maumee via the Craig Bridge.

Well...my trip was a success and I was able to obtain a new map, and I would like to give kudos to Ohio for the changes it made to it. Not the QR stuff or whatever, but they changed the way the map is folded. In years past I recall getting an Ohio map, which was a smaller size than other state maps (such as Indiana) and it would open up to the city insets side first, meaning you'd have to flip it over to get to the state side, but if you wanted to close the map properly you had to go back to the city inset side. The state side itself folded from west to east. Now, it folds from south to north and the way it folds it is much easier to access for the state side and the city inset side. I'm not sure what happened across our eastern border, but Ohio has learned how to make folding a map a lot more convienent for travellers.

Hmph.  They were still giving out the '07-'09 at the welcome center on I-77 near Marietta on July 22.
RIP Dad 1924-2012.

That was a week before they announced the new maps. Sorry, you lose.

I'll trade my 07-09 for a new one if anyone missed out

I also have an extra... ODOT took so long fulfilling my request when I was trying to get maps from every state last year. I made a second request, and they sent me a map each time. (Same thing happened with Alaska, although I ended up getting all three of my requests fulfilled after I e-mailed their director of communications asking what was taking so long...)
