I-278 BQE Exit Numbers?

I was looking at the BQE's exit numbers and wondering if they would be renumbered soon from the Brooklyn Bridge to the LIE:

28B>29
29A>30
29B>31
30  >32
31  >33
32A>34
32B>35
33  >36
34  >37
35  >38

The numbers further north were definitely changed in planning for this, but it may never be finished. NYSDOT aborted and has now reversed their attempt at resequencing the Cross Bronx. If the state does decide to go to distance-based numbering as is currently proposed in Albany, then all these numbers may change again anyway. Thing is, they'd all change down. I-278 has exits numbered up to 56, but the NY portion is only 33 miles long.

Some of the exits located further south, specifically the ones in the vicinity of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge when travelling east, were replaced within the last few years and have the same exit numbers.  Therefore, I'd think that they're probably not going to be renumbering the exits in Brooklyn.
