I recently uploaded a batch of pictures from my trip to the Rockaways with Will Roll last month.  They include the Prospect Expressway (NY 27), the Belt Parkway, Ocean Parkway, the Marine Parkway Bridge, the Cross Bay Bridge, Beach Channel Drive, Cross Bay Parkway, Shore Front Parkway, and Cross Bay Boulevard.  As usual, it's all available at http://www.greaternyroads.info.  Enjoy!

Thanks for that. My father's mother lived in Far Rockaway (Wavecrest Gardens) for about fifteen years and we usually took the Marine Parkway Bridge to Beach Channel Drive to Seagirt Boulevard when we went to visit, but I haven't been out that way since she died in August 1995 (been to Breezy Point several times, but that's it). Your pictures brought back some old memories. Thanks for posting.

Yes nice Rockaway photos.
