This has got to be the ugliest shit I've ever seen in my life.

Sign seems to be pretty informative to me.

That's fairly common in the Las Vegas area.

I think I've seen the WRONG WAY posted like that a few times in Florida, especially where there's a lot of space between individual ramps.

Looks like something NC would do (minus the arrow, and the solid lines wouldn't join). I have never seen that before.

If one roundabout sign is good, then two must be better.

Northbound I-275 approaching I-96 and M-14 in Plymouth, MI for about a month this summer.  Might it have been easier to just throw a tarp over the whole thing?

Or a big diagonal strip saying CLOSED.

^  To be fair, I'll note the covers over the M-14 shield and Ann Arbor control are for this entire construction season, while the other two covers were for only a month.

And not to drag this off-topic, but I hate diagonal CLOSED cover strips on advance signs.  That looks sloppy.  They should be horizontal and mounted to cover the distance text.

The diagonal CLOSED sign may look lazy, but it at least still allows the driver see what specific exit is closed.

Covering up the information entirely could cause issues for the driver unfamiliar with the area to travel miles past the exit, because they never saw the specific street name or route number.

I loved when downtown Pittsburgh draped "temporary tarp" signs over their entire closed exit signs several years back.

I think @wanderer2575 was referring to something more like this (which, it should be noted, is also good for sign photos).
