That's from February '24. There's '23 imagery that also shows the same thing, and there's August '24 imagery and pre '23 imagery that shows only the larger signs. So one wonders, whose bright idea was it to add those dinky signs and leave them up for a year?

Philadelphia has at least 2 intersections in South Philly with 6 street blades!

Packer Ave and 10th Street and Packer Ave and Darien Street (which would be about 8.5th street if a numbered street) both feature 6 street blades: 1 on each pole for the traffic lights, then 1 on each traffic light mast for the cross street.  The traffic ligths and assemblies are all new, when a casino was built between 10th and Darien, so it's not the case of someone not taking down old signage.  They are all brand new as of a few years ago.

It was a dual carriageway. There are many examples of this -- especially in Illinois along the old US-66 alignment and sections of existing US-40.  I guess the states wish to keep the ROW, but wish to save on the maintenance costs on those little used stretches.

As time goes on, the road is handling more and more traffic trying to bypass the rush hour traffic on I-15. Maybe they'll decide it needs to be four lanes after all.
