Never been to the northeast before except for Boston (and we flew there), so this is just a wild guess, but, somewhere in the northeast. I have been to the northeast on Google Street View. If I have to be specific, I guess New York. To get even more specific, I guess southern New York. Once again this is a fairly wild guess, so sorry if I'm way off :-D

This reminds me of "Guess The Highway" and related games from the early forum days.

Heh. At first it looked like a desert but then I realized it was just a bunch of construction and there were trees in the distance  :-D

Also, I like these "Where is Steve at?" things. If I remember correctly from other threads on the forum you are a trucker, so this is a very cool thing to do since you're traveling all over the country. Keep it up!

Doh!  Well done.  My first immediate thought was I-80 in PA, but the 3 lanes threw me off as there is nowhere that would have them on a downgrade (PennDOT doesn't even bother to maintain climbing lanes to the crest of the hill for that matter).  Also, I've never seen the signage shown in PA, and two vehicles with white plates made me think further south......but just not THAT far south (was still thinking VA/WV area).

Here's the location in GSV:

Ready for the next one...

Sorry about the delay, took me a while until i felt comfortable doing it while solo, taking photos that is, from the driver's seat.

I hate Clearview, because it looks like a cheap Chinese ripoff.

I wish I had noticed this thread before now. I knew the answer to that photo because I used to call those the "tit mountains" when I was in college.

Twofer today

I'm gonna guess that the first one is I-295 south in NJ approaching exit 7, here:
https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.747619,-75.378764&spn=0.000016,0.01045&t=h&z=17&layer=c&cbll=39.747558,-75.380912&panoid=Tj4bl01-74c5IFuzOZ1k-Q&cbp=12,220.38,,0,-7.31

Good, i am going to try and post twofers for now on, from different regions, since if i post a lot from one state/region it gets obvious, particularly if it is taken in similar areas on connecting interstates.

Assuming Roadrunner would be right with his guess, I thought about the area you were in, and this is quite a random guess, but I'd say Interstate 80 in western New Jersey for the other picture. This is my guess because I looked at a section of I-80 in western NJ on Google Maps street view, and it had similar looking asphalt and striping, and at the spot I was at, there were no guardrails or anything in the median. There was also some piedmont (lots of hills). Hope I'm right, or at least close

Not close at all, as i said, the twofers will be from different regions. Remember, a truck can cover nearly 650 mi in a day if you get a good pace down.
