Google Map Maker is awful

This horrible service is terrible compared to a streamlined service like OSM. I make good faith edits to correct a place name that is universally regarded as outdated, and nobody reviews it. Similar things like trying to delete a non-existent place go nowhere.

In contrast, with OSM I can practically add in an entire college campus and not have to go through red tape. And I did by the way.

Edit: it should be noted that I initiated the edits through "Suggest an Edit."
What's not to like about highways and bridges, intersections and interchanges, rails and planes?

I've tried to edit things myself, and it usually doesn't get edited. It's far from a perfect system for sure.

I've also reported new roads being opened to Google, and it was fixed within a couple days.
