100 years. I wonder how that compares to other DOTs across North America. Of course it wasn't called the Ministry of Transportation 100 years ago, but it was a similar body.

Department of Public Highways (DPHO) -> Department of Highways (DHO) -> Department of Transportation and Communications (DTC) -> Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) -> Ministry of Transportation (MTO)
