Temperature has been in the 30s all afternoon, with a minor snow flurry right now.

It has snowed a couple times on Memorial Day weekend in the years I've lived at Tahoe.  The holiday forecast for this year looks perfect though, sunny with temperature in the low 70s.

It's been drizzling since I woke up this morning. It's supposed to turn into snow, that won't stick, later.

Some new neighbors moved in across the street on the 1st of the month, and their lawn has been growing really, really tall.  He's finally mowing it today.  Big storms came through last night, we got almost 2½ inches of rain, and it's been cool and cloudy all day.  I question his decision-making ability.

He didn't even raise the deck on the mower, from the looks of it.  Took him about 2½ hours to mow just the front and back yard of this property.  Some people...

(No, I have no idea why the house next door is blurred out.  It didn't use to be.  That resident died a month or two ago, the landlord has been fixing up the house since then, and the 'for rent' sign just came down today.)

Looking at near normal to several degrees below normal to close out the month of May.  Overcast skies and scattered rain storms will keep us cooler than average during the day (though the cloudy nights will keep some places like Brownsville above normal during the nighttime.
