Speaking of Minnesota there was a US 59 shield up recently in eBay.  I missed out on buying it before the listing disappeared, would have liked to have that one given the National Park connection.

What's the connection?

I missed seeing it. I did get a 71 shield a couple weeks ago.

If I recall correctly it was that bulk scrapper out Texas that has a ton of signs for sale.

Apparently nothing because I confused with US 53 for some reason.

He's not on e-bay, but there's a guy in Sarcoxie, MO with a lot of signs. A few highway signs, but mostly warning signs, speed limit, and county routes. Last time I was there, he had 3-4 US 166's and a couple Kansas sunflowers.

Found the listing the seller has a ton of other signs:

Nothing that wows me at the moment, but I'll save him so I know when he has more stuff.

Filled out my roster of western Texas stuff largely off him.  The prices were okay but a lot of the signs are very beat up.  The US 380 is one I want but I’m waiting on seeing if I win on another sign.

Dear Crossing north of Hardy, AR has some older MoDOT signs.

Cimarron Collectibles I and II at Sarcoxie, MO have an assortment of old signs, but few route signs.

Is it actually black, or is that your camera?

Extremely dark Navy Blue.  It appears black in dim lighting.

Oddball STOP sign from Iowa

Old square font STOP. I didn't realize until after I got it, that it was a repaint.

I-5 button-copy off a dismantled BGS.  Part of the BGS is still attached, I'm debating on removing it or leaving as is.

I would leave it just to reduce risk of any further damage. Did you cut it off the BGS or did you get it that way?

Picked up a CA 237 construction shield.  I have a similar CA 130 that I picked up two years ago:

I found these in a dumpster on my way home Friday. No diving required as they were on the very top of the heap.

Someone...I guess named Adam...wrote the nickname of this highway on the shield. The White Lightning Road was known for its moonshine shipments running between Homer and Ruston. The dates on the back of the sign indicate that this shield was put up in 1995, and replaced a shield that was put up in 1979. Our old green shields could last a long time in the field unlike the crap being put up today and not lasting even 4 months!

This came from Ruston:

Some recent additions...

CA 204

-  For reference CA 204 is former US 99 in Bakersfield.

Two replicas; a really nice CA 18 with cats-eye reflectors and US 97:

I finally got around to posting my Arizona, Florida, Michigan and Connecticut signs in the backyard garden area this morning:

Some of the embossed signs and steel replicas ended up in my garage.  There is still a pile of signs that I haven't mounted, I'm debating putting them up on pallets in the dog run:

Incredible. Love the setup! Here, I thought I had a lot of signs, but after seeing the remaining stacks of signs you still had left… nope, not even close. :-D

The irony is my wife was the one pushing me to finally post stuff in the back yard.  The sign pile was getting in the way over her cardio equipment in the garage.  We have some pallets from our wedding I’ve been looking to put to use for awhile, I’m thinking they’ll do nicely for getting what’s left in the garage on display.

That is an incredible collection Max. As I was scrolling down, I was beginning to worry you didn't have a US 80 shield. But then I saw 2 of them. You said the embossed ones were replicas, but what about the blue one? Was that one from AZ?
