While it's probably not surprising that I have a picture of my avatar, it is surprising that this is the only picture I have.

This picture was taken in December 2007, with my dad's old digital camera. I didn't get into highway photography until a few years later when I got my first smartphone, and the window between then and when the 293 signs were taken down was small. Despite that, I still had the chance to get more pictures, but for some reason it never occurred to me to do it. Still kicking myself over it… :-/

20 hours has passed, so we can move on to 295, which seems like it will be a more common number.

There are I-295s up and down the east coast.  I'll pick...Maine, and one before the interstate renumbering and mile based exit conversion.  I-95.  November 18, 2001.

New York 295 in Canaan.  October 7, 2007.

DC 295.  January 2, 2005.
