You jumped the gun... Just kidding! (You don't have to repost it.)

77 is now in play.

I'll start with the sign for BC 77 along the Alaska Highway.  June 12, 2001.

For I-77, I think this one's just a nice-looking sign, along I-70 in Ohio.  June 4, 2003.

I'm not going to bother with any US 77, instead choosing this New York 77 for my third offering. This is in Pembroke.  June 22, 2013.

BGS illustrating the confusing interchange between Interstate H-1 and the Moanalua Freeway, when the latter was signed as HI 78 (it's now signed as Interstate H-201). I climbed on some playground equipment in an adjacent park to take this photo, so a chain-link fence would not get in the way.

One of the few photos I have that wasn't shot through my car's windshield: a streetside view of US 78 and friends in Decatur. Sadly, this assembly recently replaced one with some older-style US shields, but at least they didn't go for the butt-ugly all-straight-line GA shield like they did elsewhere near this intersection.

Jim

For I-78, I'll go to its western terminus as seen from I-81 North, and way back to my first digital camera, the Sony Mavica FD-7, which took this grainy 640x480 image on August 10, 1999.

Entering Alabama from Mississippi on then US 78, now I-22.  July 2, 2012.

And here's another view of a Hawaii 78.  This on I-H1 on August 22, 2006.

I have a similar shot coming the other way:

Seeing the SR-79 shield in the distance makes me think that your photo might just be an advanced sign for the one I have a photo of.  I'm guessing your photo is eastbound approaching Julian.  Mine was taken just east of the eastern SR-79 junction to the east of Julian.

Hard to believe these little villages are just an hour outside of San Diego.
