....

BTW, my attempts to post an S have been beaten out twice, by seconds, in the past few minutes.This is getting competitive (in a good way)!

This has happened to me a lot because the Photobucket iPad app isn't working right, so I'm having to use my phone (not going to use my PC since I'm sitting on the couch near the kitchen while cooking dinner). By the time I scroll through the thumbnails, copy the link, and edit it, someone beats me to it. But that just means more interesting stuff to see.

I can move faster, though, and still get beat out. For the S I wanted to post, and the G I was able to post in its place, I had my posts already done in WordPad, for me to copy into the "reply" box and hit "post" (then go back to fill in the blank at the beginning for the name used in the previous post).

In the meantime, You posted yet another "S", but I missed that chance too. My bad, gotta stick to the task at hand.

Edgewood ---> Durham, new sign replaced the old favorite I posted earlier.

Durham => Matapédia (QC):

BTW, this is the three-legged intersection where QC 132 loops around the Gaspe Peninsula to intersect itself. For Percé, you can go either east then south via Ste-Anne-des-Monts, or south then east via Matapédia, about the same distance either way.

Matapédia ---> Arlington

I may have to quit soon, almost time to take dinner out of the oven. This thread is fun and addictive. Thanks to the OP for starting this!

Needles -> Swastika (ON), a small town on ON 66 that stubbornly clung to its pre-Nazi era name even during World War II:

Now I only need to wait for an ending "I" to post the last photo I really want to post (though I have some lesser ones ready to go).

Haysi  => Iqaluit (NU). This welcome sign for Iqaluit's Apex community brings Canada's Nunavut Territory into the game, completing our coverage of all of Canada's provinces and territories except maybe New Brunswick.
