This is from off of Interstate 20 Eastbound in Georgia somewhere between Atlanta and Augusta (which showcases some new concrete pavement after a resurfacing):




This is the asphalt pavement of the street I live off of:




This is the concrete pavement on Georgia Highway 316 somewhere near Winder, GA:




Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

I meant strictly posting pictures of just pavement, but tried to phrase it in a way that wasn't so on the nose. ;-) adventurenumber1 figured it out. :biggrin:

At first, I actually misinterpreted the challenge as including pictures of roads as long as there wasn't signage or vehicles or other infrastructure in the photo, but I then thought it may include just pavement only, so I corrected my mistake before my post was finished.  :-D  :D

I think of &, #, and % as symbols rather than punctuation but assuming they're in the spirit of this challenge, I'll go with these.

Here's one with both a hash and an ampersand on Monroe County 905 on Key Largo, Florida.  June 29, 2006.



Not a great picture, but here's a big, long hyphen in Delaware.  May 28, 2000.

Reusing this photo from earlier in this game, of the only road in Tenakee Springs AK, so narrow that the village prohibits any private vehicles wider than an ATV or a golf cart. The dog in the middle of the road is a bonus.
