I am not sure if this counts, but here's I-79, at mile marker 79, on mile marker 79!
(you might need to zoom in...)

Totally counts! I just didn't want people posting pictures of mile markers captioned with the highway it's from without any other shields or signs visible.

Quote from: Mergingtraffic on April 21, 2017, 08:14:07 PMThat sign is extruded. Although it's hard to tell in the photo. The "T Wellington Station" signs on MA-16 were also extruded and had a 1974 label on the back. They might be gone now tho.
I see that now & since edited my earlier post to reflect such.

Although, GSV (note: I'm only using such for information purposes only & not for challenge posting) does not exist for the face of that BGS; it does show the backside of the panel.  As of May 2016, it's still there.

January 5 challenge: Post a picture where a route number in the picture and the speed limit are identical, and both are shown in the picture.
The route number shown does not have to be the road the picture is on.

Here's one on SH 46 in New Braunfels - I think this meets the criteria:

The April 24 challenge happens to be a superset of my January 5 challenge.

Madrid, Iowa:

Debatable whether Cambridge, MA or Cambridge, in the UK, is more famous, but because the latter was there first I'm including this one of my hometown, Cambridge, Minnesota:

Edit to include one more I remembered I had, this one of the tiny town of Oslo, Minnesota:

Didn't think I'd get so much use out of this photo. Sadly, US 78 stops some way short of Greece.

I got a ton on my most recent trip, and here are just three of them:

Damascus, New York. Taken on I-86/NY 17 in Windsor, New York, on August 14th, 2016.

Palestine, Arkansas. Taken on I-40 northeast of Goodwin, Arkansas, on August 19th, 2016.

Halifax, North Carolina. Taken on I-95 seven miles south-southwest of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, on August 23rd, 2016.

Question: Does the word "New" count in the name? For example, Orleans is better known as a city in France, and New Orleans would apply to the challenge if we disregard the "New" part.
