Probably hundreds to choose from here, but I'll just go with an old favorite I understand has been replaced along the Mass Pike.  This from April 10, 2004.

Doesn't look like it; it's four destinations along four different roads. (I-81 to Hazleton, I-78 to Allentown, I-83 to York and US 322 to Hershey.)

I'll give two examples. Here's one I'm recycling from a challenge a few days ago for I-75:

And another on I-575:

It counts.  The "To 78" is optional and could just as easily be omitted.  If you ignore the "To 78" you'll see that it counts.

Pray tell, how do you get to Allentown on I-81?

Which of those other roads listed at the junction is going to take you to Allentown?

I rest my case.

Hmm, I see your point. Although of course, the 78 wasn't omitted–so, does it count as is, or only if you modify the sign?

The challenge says "along one particular road."  Fact of the matter is you have to get onto I-78 to get to Allentown.  So, two particular roads are involved.

:colorful: It's recap time! :colorful:

All Challenges posted since the previous re-cap (i.e., June 29th) are open until the end of the month. This serves as the Challenge for today, and new Challenges will also be posted for July 30 and 31.

Don't forget, we're also tantalizingly close to the end of our presidential side-Challenge, and there are also a couple of unused dates in June that are available for one-offs. So, have at it!

EDIT: If anybody feels like putting the list together, I won't get the chance until late tomorrow. ;-)

QuoteJuly 19, 2017: Dedicated U-turns.

I was unable to get these out of storage in time for the challenge (they were buried in my parents' garage), but I actually happen to own a red and green U-turn signal:

The red section uses a metal housing while the green section is plastic (or whatever the proper term is). They were purchased a long, long time ago on eBay as a Christmas present when I was a young kid, so I have no idea whence they originated.

Hitting me in the feels with this one. I have a great memory of stopping there on the way to Eureka Springs on vacation as a kid.

I assume the challenge labeled "July 29" is actually for July 30? July 29 was the recap.
