For some reason, this street sign uses two ravens, rather than one as is typical in Norman Wells.

Old US Sixty-Four => Riverview Street (Norman Wells NT):

BTW, I'm not as fond of ravens as the folks in Norman Wells seem to be. Some of them like to hang out at gas pumps, and attack motorists or their vehicles getting too close to their perches. That happened to me in Fort Providence NT (on my way back from Norman Wells), with the bird pecking and/or clawing at my car's roof. I had to blow the horn to scare it off, so I could get out of my car. That was also a problem with the raven standing guard at the old truck stop at the south end of the Dempster Highway (burned down after I traveled that route in 2012).

I almost made the same mistake myself, so no worries.  It's not your fault someone designated a street name that is 3x longer than it should be.  That crap is obnoxious.  Sign salads are one way to overload a driver's memory to the point where it's destructive; creating a four-word street name is another.

There are a number of names like that around here, mostly leftovers from days gone by. I have a Scioto & Darby Creek that I could play here, but I'll spare you all the needless pain :)
