Greetings from NWA
« on: August 10, 2017, 06:33:20 AM »

Always been a geographical, road inclined fan.  Not a civil engineer but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn once.

meanwhile, we're still waiting on I-49 to finally get done.  Can't believe there will be a 6 mile gap of the "bypass" for many years to come.  I don't mind US71 all that much.  Bella Vista is a pretty town actually.  But if you're going to go through all the trouble of renaming it as Interstate 49, you'd think bypassing BV to Pineville, MO would be a higher priority.  Finish that dang road.

Welcome from Dalton, Georgia, which is just off Interstate 75.

Continuing your discussion of I-49, there is absolutely no telling how long it will be until the stretch in Arkansas from I-30 to I-40 is completed.  :-/
