The geometry of the area with the exit ramps so close to AR 367 made a SPUI necessary, I'm sure. If not for that, the current northbound parclo would probably still work.

I hope they keep six-laning at least to the White County line because the condition of the old pavement today is rough, especially in the right lanes. That concrete dates to the early 1970s.

I'm glad they went with an SPUI. I've grown to dislike DDIs more and more. It's not that I don't like them I just think they're over engineered and I don't really see any significant improvements to travel towns through them. I think they're good in some situations but I wish we'd see more SPUIs.
