Sure of this? I found Barton VT is around 72 degrees west, Miami 80 degrees west.

The smaller the west longitude the farther east it is.

A little more readable...if you click on it. :D

I'm presuming I'm not on there because it's hard to create a box for my 360 east-west?

You only gave differences, not coordinates.

I also gave my "land" cities.  Or would you prefer to plot my sea coordinates?

In fairness, though, there's also the question of how to plot my east-west...

I'll plot whatever north and south latitudes you provide.

East and west longitudes are actually quite easy:  -180 and 180.

In that case, my "sea coordinates" are 65.5 and -53.92.

So I made a mistake earlier...my north-south sea distance should be 119.42.

Me:

N: 61.22419444 N, Anchorage, AK (in a random neighborhood)
E: 70.39291667 W, the middle of nowhere, Peru (by Ayaviri)
S: 14.88182222 S, Ayaviri, Peru (their signage is bad)
W: 150.0722778 W, Anchorage, AK (on a bike ride)

Interesting how I hit combined extremes on both trips.

BTW 10-8 of a degree latitude is about 0.04 inches; I'm kind of impressed how precise some of these are :-)

I just took mine from Google Maps. It's probably overkill, but I wasn't sure how much effect it would have to take away the last digit.

Yours were given to 10-6 degrees latitude.  That is precise to approximately 4 or 5 inches.

I posted mine to 10-2 degrees latitude, which is precise to approximately 5 or 6 city blocks.

In case anyone, like me, has trouble visualizing 0.04 inches, it is approximately 1 mm.

Sparker made things a little more complicated since he decided to go around the world the wrong way.

If anyone who submitted coordinates already wants to pull a sparker and have their westernmost point be in the eastern longitudes, just report 'em and I'll change them (corco?  kurumi?  Signgeek101?).

Not me, since I live close to the IERS Reference Meridian (25 minutes West of it)...
