Pretty sure he meant that while the words "La Grange" are indeed in the photo, they are part of a road name instead of referring to the actual city of La Grange.

But I'm going to keep playing while we're in my home state.

Crawfordsville to Owensboro, KY, via US 231.

Jim

A few months ago, we took the Audubon Parkway from Henderson to Owensboro.  Today, let's go back the other way, Owensboro -> Henderson (KY).  Taken on US 60.  August 17, 2017.

It's a bit of a gray area, but I don't see anything in the rules explicitly prohibiting it and the OP hasn't objected, so I'd say play on.

From Henderson, KY, US 41 south to Lake City, FL:

How about US90 from Lake City, FL to Spanish Fort, AL?

There is no clear precedent in the challenge either way, as far as I know.  The closest I could come up with is a street blade that includes the name of the town the street is in.

MA 3 from Hanover, MA (it clips the corner) to Quincy (which can be seen on the street blade in the background if you zoom in).

From Quincy, we can take Massachusetts 28 up to Reading.  Taken on I-95.  August 27, 2010.

I have no problem with playing Cityname General Hospital or Cityname University, so Cityname Street should be fine.

No objection from me to using the city name as part of something else, as long as its an otherwise valid play.
