Would love to see blackout plates in the northeastern states.

I saw NY blackout plate on a highway the other day. While I very much doubt it was legit, it looks like numbers were copied from the real one. I wonder how many cops paid attention....

How many cops know all possible vanity plates? That's an exhausting job in some states, maybe less so in others.

In some states like Texas, where there are like 500 or some designs over the last twenty years, there's no way a cop could reasonably keep track of every design. Even one they haven't seen before could be chocked up to it just being a rare design.

Some states have a lot fewer vanity designs so maybe a cop has memorized them all...
