And the A-25 extension to Saint-Julienne has been scrapped in favor of "lower cost upgrades".

"Various measures aimed at improving Route 125, in Saint-Esprit and Sainte-Julienne, are replacing the Highway 25 extension project. Rather than intervening on the highway axis, the improvements to Route 125 will ensure fluidity and safety at a lower cost."

And years later, traffic counts was higher than they anticiped and they'll regret their decisions.

It'll be soon 20 years ago then the gap of A-55 was opened between St-Célestin and TCH-20 and currently being converted from a super-2 into a 4-lanes freeway. Since then PQ-155 was decommissioned south of Trois-Rivières, here some old pictures showing PQ-155 signs before they was retired. http://www.srquebec.net/r155-reg17.html

Looking for information on the conversion of Route 335 to Autoroute 19 in Laval area. Supposedly will be a controlled-access road between A-440 and A-640 by 2027 some time. Are there any members that are familiar with this project that can provide an update on current progress?

I just drove that segment the first week of this month. There's an interchange with Rue St-Salens, with a posted exit number and is shown in official online mapping as part of A-19 (but no route signage there or elsewhere on the project). South of that interchange and a little to the north, there is a paved second carriageway not yet open to traffic, but no lane markings on the asphalt yet, or other signage. There's also a sign indicating that work on that segment was planned to end sometime in August.

Less progress on the twinning and other improvements the rest of the way to A-640. Some rough grading around the intersection with QC 344. I didn't notice the bridge construction shown in Open Street Map along Pont Athbanase-David, but I wasn't looking for that.

I haven't yet looked at the planning documents for the A-19 extension project. I'm still recovering from that long trip to Quebec, which included lots of travel in the Gaspe Peninsula, and QC 138 along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River all the way to road's end (for now) in Kegaska.

One minor note on extension east from Kegaska: the previous extension east to Kegaska is now paved, except for the last km or two to the Kegaska ferry terminal. My guess had been that was anticipation of the proposed extension west to Kegaska from the La Romaine airport, which would've passed north of the Kegaska airport, bypassing the last bit of QC 138 in Kegaska. Looks like that's not happening anytime soon, and OSM has removed the unbuilt part of the proposed Kegaska-La Romaine link (but keeps about 6.5 miles already built just west of the La Romaine airport).
