San Antonio: North Loop 1604 expansion

As of today (February 5th), the eighth -- and final -- flyover at the I-10/Loop 1604 interchange is NOW OPEN!

Here is the status as of Monday April 6, proceeding west from I-35:

I-35 to Nacogdoches: traffic is on connector ramps while main lanes are rebuilt. Photos below.

Nacogdoches to around Judson: expansion has not started

Judson to US 281: around 50% complete

US 281 to around Bitters: nearing completion. Photo below

Around Bitters to I-10: complete. There is a wide inner shoulder for the future HOV lane. Photos below.

At I-10: All ramps are open. Work continues on the main lanes and frontage roads. Photo below.
