I picked up Kentucky 398 last week, so I am now up to 428 as my lowest un-driven number.

Here's photos of most of them. (I've driven on Loop 343 in Austin, but without any sign photos...sometimes the camera actually isn't with me.)

For me, including as a passenger. If it's me driving only, it's 1:

US 1, MA 2, US 3, I-4, I-5, US 6, G7 (China), KY 8, US 9, I-10, US 11, US 12, IL 13, US 14, US 15, OH 16, KY 17, US 18, US 19, I-20, MO 21, US 22, US 23, I-24, US 25, FL 26, US 27, OH 28, US 29, US 30, US 31, OH 32, US 33, US 34, US 35, US 36, IN 37, IL 38, I-39, I-40, US 41, US 42, PA 43, I-44, US 45, IN 46

That leaves 47 as my lowest. Going to give a special thank you to I-465 here, or else I would've missed 31, 36 and 37.

skquinn

I've been on NASA Road 1, but no route numbered 2 I know of. After I find a route numbered 2, it will jump to 4 (Texas 3), then 7 (Spur 5, Texas 6), then at least 11 (Beltway 8, Vermont/New Hampshire 9, I-10).

You have been on the "Middle of Nowhere expressway"? Wow. Bear in mind G6 and G7 are on different alignments between Beijing and Hohhot (and G7 still has a gap in Beijing), so you may have never been on a route numbered 7 (especially true if you try to claim the Badaling expressway, which is only G6). As for me I have never driven a route numbered 3 (only intersected one), even though I've been on several routes of that number
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

For me, it's 111. The closest options are in NW Ohio and the Christiansburg, VA area, both 4+ hours away. I'm probably more likely to get Christiansburg than the Ohio one.

After that, I'm up to 137 and 139.

KY 111 is about an hour west of the Big Sandy River. Accessible from I-64 from either exit 121 or 123 at Owingsville. Two hours to Charleston, another hour to Huntington, and another hour to Owingsville, and you're there. Probably closer than Christiansburg.

US 101 is THE backbone of the Pacific coast from Bandon OR to Willits CA.  Industry, tourism and local traffic would be gone or severely crippled without it being in functioning condition in BOTH states.

Just checked baidu maps, you're right, it was G6 to Badaling. Thought it was G7 the entire time. I did think of another entry for my 7. There's a 1 mile long concurrently with VA-7 when turning from VA-267 west to US 15 north in Leesburg. Idk how I missed it when making my list the first time.

I've fully clinched at least one route numbered all the way up to 63.

I was looking through Travel Mapping, and my lowest not-clinched route number would be 28 (though I had completed "US 27 Alternate" before it disappeared in 1997, TM won't count it.)

JayhawkCO

Going on a road trip to pick up a new car, and just wanted to see how many new numbers might be on the trip. Obviously I'll not try to drive every single new number I see, but I think I can get my number from 106 to 203.

106 - VA
108 - AR
111 - FL
132 - VA
136 - PA
137 - NE
140 - AL
146 - MD
147 - AL
151 - IA
153 - WY
156 - VA
174 - MD
178 - MD
179 - MD
188 - PA
192 - VA
193 - OH
198 - MS
199 - AL

For those wondering, my general route is going down to Lubbock, cutting across to Georgia via Dallas, Texarkana, Monroe, Jackson, Montgomery, Auburn, Columbus and then heading down I-75 to Tampa.  (Visiting my parents in Florida is also part of this equation).

Coming back, going up to Delaware mostly via I-95, I-64, and US13, then finishing off clinching I-70 and I-68 before heading up towards Cleveland to come back on the toll roads.  Then finally clinching Iowa's interstates with I-380, cutting across on US20 across northern Nebraaska, coming into extreme eastern Wyoming, and back home.

Finalizing the route today, but I have to think I'll be adding something like 2000 miles of new roads and upwards of 100 new counties.

Chris

Again, mostly to visit my parents, but I have 3 weeks before I start a new job, so I figured I'd make a road trip out of it (also since my wife doesn't want me flying at the moment.)  The car I'm looking at is about $2,500 cheaper than I'd be able to get it around here, so I figured, since I had the time, why not?

Chris

FrCorySticha

Thinking back, I have been on a route 8: BIA Route 8 on the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation in north central Montana. So, currently my lowest number is actually 9.
