'Joker's Wild' contestant who collected soap

Remember the game show 'The Joker's Wild'? Does anyone else remember a contestant in the early '80s who collected soap? I think his name was Al.

I thought you were referring to Snoop Dogg's game show.

No, but I remember when Johnny Carson had a guest who brought on her collection of potato chips that looked like famous people, and when she looked away, he ate a regular chip out of a bowl, and she turned back and gave him the dirtiest look.

I remember the Joker's Wild in general but not anything specific other than the way the host said "joker" when a joker appeared after a spin.
