Manitoba provincial road 459 => Manitoba provincial road 636, in Churchill (no highway connection to the rest of the provincial highway network):



The route marker uses the style reserved for provincial trunk highways (1-199), except for the "PR" prefix, rather than the Provincial Road format shown in Jim's photo. The MB 636 marker, and the fancy wood-frame sign assembly, might've been thrown together in haste to impress the Queen, on one of her royal visits to Churchill. A local tour guide said the highway (between Churchill and its airport) also was paved for the occasion, something else Her Majesty insisted on in her later years.

I think the Connecticut and West Virginia shields are similar enough to be considered the same. WV 9 near Martinsburg.
