I hate to break the pattern, but at least it's also sequential...US 60 with West Virgina 61:

oscar

Another US 60, in Covington VA, but with two alternatives: US 220, and error US 18 (should be VA 18):

Can't resist. Km 220 marker in Alabama (how'd that happen?) => Km 1962 markers on the Alaska Highway in the Yukon, last ones before the Yukon-Alaska border, in 2001.

Since then, it was replaced with a km 1902 marker (I have a photo of that, too), reflecting realignments of the highway in the Yukon and British Columbia, as well as their periodic km-post recalibrations. Either way, AFAIK the highest km-marker in North America.

A short-lived metrication program by ALDOT in the 1990s. It was only for mile markers, I think.

oscar

24-hour rule. Still on km-markers, but this one has a much lower number.

Km-marker 1962 => Km-marker 8:

Exit 11 or US 11, take your pick:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Jim

I'll take that Exit 11 and play an Exit 200.  I-64 in Virginia.  July 8, 2017.  (or you can play off the I-64 if you go US 11->US 64 on the previous submission, or play US 60 here reached from US 11 on the previous submission)

Your choice of either US 79 or KY 79. (Sign assembly no longer exists, as US 79 and US 431 have been rerouted in this area.)

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Kentucky 3552 (the highest Kentucky number in my inventory).

The highest Kentucky number in my inventory is just shy of yours...also here's a KY-56 which is a bit more manageable...
