According to the URL, the second survey was on 2020/02/04. This predates both the death of George Floyd (May) and the Washington Football Team renaming announcement (July), so we can rule out both of those as possibilities.

Thread split? I don't want a "catch-all" thread to be locked.

Quote from: Max Rockatansky on March 05, 2026, 09:12:27 AMYou admitted to using AI to produce posts in at least one of those Key Bridge threads you sabotaged.  You kept denying it when people called you out on it and eventually fessed up.  The whole Suggestions board thread about AI usage was largely based around the actions you were taking.
I don't think the forum collectively is going to ever let you walk the AI stuff back.
You've made more than 34,000 posts here, and a large share of them are one‑liners, jokes, or quick reactions. I don't judge your entire posting history on that, and I don't think it's fair to judge mine on a single moment either. The forum may care about that narrative, but the wider world really doesn't.

At one point in 2023, regarding a different troll, I looked at the most recent 50 threads Max Rockatansky created. Here is what I found:

Of Max's last 50 threads:

26 are about specific roads.
3 are a legitimate non-fictional road topic unrelated to any trolls (Highways which end at a gate of a military base, Numbered Highways with the steepest signed gradients, Highways that can only be driven in one travel direction)
1 is weather-related (January 2023 Bomb Cyclone closures)
1 is a legitimate topic based on a MMM comment (Counterfeit/Bootleg Highways).
1 is a legitimate fictional thread (Interstate system numberings had California gotten their way in 1957)
5 are a parody of MMM (99-ify, the negative thread, Implausible scenarios you can find documented instances of challenge, this one, who can hold it the longest in the car)
1 is a parody of Lord Carhorn (Wisconsin is the best State ever and not flat)
3 are a parody of Poiponen13 (Fort Lauderdale street renaming with forum members names, Forum users you would turn into new islands, Poiponen13 in one thread)
1 is a generic anti-troll (All Interstates should be abolished)
1 is a generic troll (Blood sacrifices made to construct new A1A bridging islands)
1 is "the best worst forum quotes"
6 other (surprising Wikipedia articles that don't exist, acronyms you don't know the meaning of, legos, Mayan apocolypse 10th anniversary, Cultural items your age demographic should have knowledge of but you don't, Times you have made passengers riding with you nauseous)

That said, Max Rockatansky does seem a bit quick to "counter-troll", such as when bicyclehazard came back after a long hiatus a few months ago which Max probably wouldn't have done if someone's first post contained the exact same content.

Out-groups unilaterally telling everyone an in-group is totally okay or proud with some sort of stereotype is the epitome of gaslighting.

There's always exceptions to the rule but if the poll specifically chose football fans (or those from the primary area of the fan base) exclusively, then naturally there's going to be inherent bias due to resistance to change. Focusing on outliers' choices is deceptive shock value.

Credibility is an easy thing to lose and a really difficult thing to get back (especially in a niche hobby).  You have a huge uphill battle with many of us after all the things you did this past half year.  Pretending/denying like the chaos you caused didn't happen isn't really endearing.

That aside, you must not really visit Pacific Southwest much.  You keep bringing up post counts as though it was something I care about.

You got me curious about what the last fifty topics I created were comprised of:

44 - specific roads (including vintage highway alignments)
2 - road related (surprisingly high elevation roads and the Jalisco cartel road blocks)
2 -  road meet (both about Monterey and Big Sur)
1 - off topic
1 - railroad (the Skunk Train)

The fact that there is a professional football team in Washington, D.C. is a minor thing that bothers me.

It dates back to the 1980s and one of those obnoxious superfans with whom I used to work. He was a great fellow and I loved him dearly (Malcolm "Mac" Kilduff, google him if you want) but his Redskins fandom was wearing.

It's much the same reason that I could never stand Jeff Gordon. His fans were omnipresent.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

FedEx Field is in Landover, Maryland. As the local team for me I have supported them since we moved here in 1970.

Plenty of long-time Redskins fans don't like name changes in general and definitely not a name like Commoders.

I even see social media posts saying that the Commoders have won 3 Super Bowls and 2 NFL championships in the pre-SB days. They haven't won squat.

No, I was running with mostly OHV groups during that era and occasionally buying signs from Jake Bear.  I didn't have my own internet subscription until 2008 when my renters chipped in for it.  I was aware of MTR and didn't think it had much to offer me.  I haven't seen much shared on here that suggests I was off the mark on that assessment (in particular the Calrog stuff).

Way back in the mid/late 1990s there was a couple road bulletin boards my dad and I were on.  Those were hosted on Prodigy Online and mostly became a relic of Prodigy Classic once Net Scape largely replaced the closed ISP.
