I don't get alerted when someone likes my post.

I was recently informed that I could change my settings so that 'likes' don't notify me.  So I did that, and now I'm free of that minor annoyance.

I wondered if he was doing that more widely or if I were being stalked, so thanks for that comment. I see I have 35 notifications right now, this on top of a large number in the past few days, all from one particular thread.

This is KirbyKart right?  I think he's on a binge of liking every last post in the Daily Worst Answer thread.

Of course, then you don't find out if a post got liked.  I tend to encounter quotes when I browse the forum normally, so likes are the more critical one for alerts for me.  Of course, when you click the thread, the alert goes away; cue the scroll up to try to find the liked post(s).

I assumed he had a crush on me or something.

I turned off like notifications specifically because of their like spam.

Yeah I get that.  The question that comes to my mind is why is person evening doing this?  Trying to like every last post in a super long thread is pretty weird.

When likes first became a thing I was a little worried that a few people were liking all of my posts to try and curry favor with the admin. But then I realized later on that they just like everyone's posts.
