You being from Rochester is why I made the connection to that song—doubt I’d have thought of it otherwise—and then I started looking at Street View images of some of the bridges.

Correct, Mapmikey had the most recent correct answer and is thus up next if he wants to take his turn.

Well, it's been close to a week, so I'm going to take the liberty of posting the next bridge to guess:

Here's a clue: Google seems to think this bridge is in a particular location. It isn't. It's not even in the same state, in fact, but it is within 300 miles.

Boy, that's stumping me.

Did you figure out where Google thinks it is, at least?

I'm considering some options for additional clues, but would first like to know how helpful the first one was. (My guess: not very)

Here's another clue: This bridge crosses a river with a name due opposite of its location relative to mine.

And another anecdotal clue: It is visible from Street View. When I first verified this, the image(s) I found showed the sign with the bridge name visible in plain sight. I got really nervous that I had done the same thing, and quickly rushed back here to double-check - only to realize, of course, that I had enough sense to post a picture of the opposite opening. Whew!

Correct! You were actually up next before, so you can post the next bridge if you'd like.

I cheated and just searched Google for the image URL, then went to his website from there.

Remember, kids:  don't cheat.

This is why I didn't want to post any (like trying to solve though) because all my bridge photos are likely on my website.  I at least changed the name of the photo so that looking at my post quote wouldn't give away a lot more info.

So now we've got three people that know the answer, but none of them are saying it for various reasons:

-One doesn't have another photo to post
-One posted the previous photo and wants to give others a chance
-One cheated

Who can jump in and help us out here?  :-D

You might be new to this game, but you're supposed to guess the previous bridge in order to be able to post the next one to guess.

Yes I'm new to this game.

See below:

Guess That Bridge is as simple as it sounds, Guess the bridge! Almost any bridges are allowed, but:

... Here are some guidelines:

...
—The first person who gets their guess correct (as confirmed by the poster) gets to post a new picture to guess. If they do not post a picture within 24 hours, someone else can post one.
—If no one guesses it within a week, the guessing has stalled. That’s OK, after a wile, someone can post a new picture to guess.
...

WTF, I wasn’t even looking for it! Is it the US-58 bridge in Martinsville, VA?

It has been more than 24 hours. I just drove across this bridge, and it is one of the more scary bridges I've been on.

Beaver Bridge — AR-187

Irony is that it looks you could put a new bridge straight across but they never did.

A way to obfuscate that, if you so choose: copy the image URL, go to Imgur, paste your URL in the upload box. It'll automatically copy it to Imgur's servers with an anonymous URL.

I just watched an old Martinsville race, and was curious to see where Martinsville is. Guess I’m just lucky.
