I-295 south in DC passes exit 1 for the US Naval research Lab, then 2 miles later crosses into MD and hits I-95/495 and the National Harbor at exits 1C-B-A.

If you include DC 295's exit 1 a couple miles further north, that's 3 within 10 miles.
"Now, what if da Bearss were to enter the Indianapolis 5-hunnert?"
"How would they compete?"
"Let's say they rode together in a big buss."
"Is Ditka driving?"
"Of course!"
"Then I like da Bear buss."
"DA BEARSSS BUSSSS"

National Harbor should really be Exit 0. And DC 295 should just continue with I-295's MMs and be Exit 5.

Springfield, IL has dual 96's. There's Exit 96 on I-72, just west of the south/west junction of the I-55/I-72 concurrency, and then there's Exits 96A-B on the concurrency itself, since it uses the mileage for I-55.

This isn't going to win the superlative by any means, but I-15 has an exit 8 in AZ and an exit 8 in Utah, too.

It's okay, I'll take it.  Despite the title of this thread, this wasn't really a contest to find the absolute closest exits with the same number.  It was more a fun exercise to see how many instances in the system a route can have close exits with the same number, you know just to confuse the average motorist (hey, didn't we just pass Exit 8 a little while ago?)
