There is precedent to allow that.

Technically you're changing 0 letters, you're just rearranging them. After all, if you added up the Unicode values, both of them would have the same result, because addition is commutative.

Bubbling cops and outlaw heroes in TV and movies

Does anyone else remember this TV show from the early 1980s? It was a buddy cop series where they went around solving crimes while constantly blowing big bubbles with their gum. There was a two-parter where they were trying to track down who stole a toilet from an Interstate rest area. I think it aired only at 2:30 PM on public-access television in Kentucky.

One time in school, a teacher showed us an episode of that show in class, and there was a commercial with two men who keeped talking in a real quiet voice, and you couldn't quite make out all the words.  One of them was wearing a Big Bird sweatshirt with a mustard stain on it.  Lots of kids in school started putting mustard on their shirts because of it.  I haven't been able to figure out what commercial that was.
