My mother still prints directions despite her car having a very nice built-in sat-nav with a very clear screen. I've shown her how to use it, and she also went to the dealer for a tutorial on the car's features (it had been my father's car), but she still seems either unwilling or unable to use the sat-nav. I think the only time she used mapping software on her phone was one time when I programmed it for her when she wanted to walk from a Metrorail stop to somewhere in Georgetown.
