One example (due to truncation) in my neck of the woods is Business MD 3 in Glen Burnie.  MD 3 used to follow the alignment now taken by I-97 from Millersville to I-695, so it used to intersect with Business MD 3.  MD 3 is now truncated near Millersville.

There would be no point in advertising the one you already have because you're not in the target market — you can't switch to something you're already using.

This is assuming targeted ads (e.g. YouTube) rather than TV ads.

TBH, I thought I was just getting AmEx ads because of my search history. As well as frequent mail and YouTube ads for the other two.

I was reading something about the resurfacing of Mineral King Road in Sequoia National Park on Facebook.  Most of the hiking crowd is happy about this development given the road was in pretty hellaciously bad shape for a paved corridor.

I couldn't help feel somewhat dismayed that one of my favorite back roads in the western Sierra is going to be far less haggard for the foreseeable future.  I guess part of the appeal for me in driving up to Mineral King was the loosely paved wagon grade kept your brain engaged.  It wasn't uncommon to have to plan to pass oncoming traffic and dodge a series of deep pot holes.

For some reason a road being in really bad shape is something I find intriguing.  I've never been able to pinpoint what I find appealing about stuff like that other than it is fun to drive along for some reason.

Great pick. I've got its pickup cousin, the Frontier. I was considering the X when shopping last year but ended up wanting the pickup bed, which I've already needed a few times.

The Xterra's turning radius is so much better than the Frontier, otherwise I would have considered it.

No argument there. The Frontier's turning radius is a bit of a meme, but it isn't noticeably worse than the likes of a Ranger in my experience. But it's not great for tight city spaces.

I'm more concerned with on some of the trails that I go on, the tight turning radius prevents 7-point turns.

Nah.  With enough skill, you can still manage to do a 7-point turn in an Xterra.

I've had Nissan Frontiers has rental vehicles; you can make U-turns, but you also have to clear a day off your calendar to do so.

Something I noticed:  The Brady Bunch's series finale aired on March 1974, and Saved By The Bell premiered its Jr. High pilot on July 1987, just 13 years apart, which doesn't seem like a long time for two shows that seems generations apart.

Several of the Saved By The Bell student cast members were actually alive during the final days of the Brady Bunch.

It's not necessarily valid to assume that "Church Street" refers to a religious institution or building. "Church" is also a last name (e.g., former Nationals outfielder Ryan Church, or country singer Eric Church). I have no idea how common it is among people of non-Christian faiths.

There was once an old farmer who had nothing going for him other than his three beautiful daughters.

One night, they were all going out on dates with their respective beaus.

There came a knock at the door, and he answered. "Hi!" said the young man standing there. "My name's Joe. I'm here to pick up Flo. We're going to the show. Is she ready to go?"

"Yes, I'll go and get her," said the farmer.

About 10 minutes later came another knock.

"Hi, my name's Eddy. I'm here to pick up Betty. We're going to eat spaghetti. Is she ready?"

So the farmer went and fetched her.

Another 10 minutes went by. Then a third knock came.

"Hi, my name's Tucker..."

And before he could say another word, the farmer grabbed him by the neck, dragged him out the back, and shot him.

Today is a rare Tuesday off since I was getting an oil change in one of my cars.  The service was done pretty quickly so I decided to see that new Resident Evil movie since it had a lot of buzz.  The previous Resident Evil movies were fucking terrible, but the new movie was pretty solid.  It really is more of a body horror movie instead of anything that closely follows the plot of the older games.

FWIW, my wife doesn't really care much for scary movies much less body horror.  She couldn't make it through the 1982 version of The Thing and kept looking away during Alien Romulus.  This year has been very good with the horror genre in general with a lot of solidly R rated gore filled entries.

No.  If you move into a house on Church Street, the government forces you to convert to Christianity.  In Illinois, there is no separation of Church and State.  As you can see, they intersect right here.
