There are actually a significant number of nations and territories that use miles-per-hour, mostly due to British or American colonialism (not always though). But certainly none that have regions resembling your picture.

Any outside the Caribbean?  That is to say, are there actually signs in Burma or Liberia with mph?

I think Burma switched to metric signs but just did a brute conversion–meaning, for example, that the below is a common thing:

Liberia, I really have no idea.

When I was in Burma/Myanmar about 10 years ago, I only saw km/h signs.  Not many at that though.  I think they just kind of wing it there.

Belize as well. As to whether they're posted, there's no Street View imagery to confirm, so I couldn't say.

I was simply getting at miles-per-hour being more than just two countries, even if it pales in comparison to metric countries.

Chris,

I'm pretty sure I've found this one on GSV before.

Is it 10 MPH?

That is crazy. I can't imagine such limits are even permitted in some states, much less enforced. I know anything below 20 isn't permitted here in WA.

Alleys are by default 15 mph in Ohio, and the only time I've seen 5 or 10 mph speed limit signs are on a college or office campus.

To be fair, the highway ends about .5 miles past that after going through the city and then it ends at the state park.

Whoops... Caps81943's post was the last one on the page and it never occurred to me to check for additional pages, so I didn't see this until now...  I guess I am a safe speeder, just not the SafeSpeeder :-D

Sounds like Monroe County DOT when setting speed limits!
But no, it's not 40 either.

SkyPesos

Guess I'll place myself in the middle then, 45 mph?
