Quote from: wanderer2575 on January 05, 2025, 11:14:58 PMOver-the-counter cold medications that first require age verification as though I'm purchasing a fifth of Jägermeister, and then are hermetically sealed so as to require a blowtorch and a Swiss Army knife to be able to open the bottle.  Now, in addition to the cold medication, I need two Excedrin and a tranquilizer.

Wow.  :-D

I'm glad it ended when it did.  I was struggling to understand my own counter-troll calendar system.

Well, definitely not celebrating Gemerton's Day like that crazy Finn insisted we should do. I'm not pushing my own Pearson Sunday after all (Dravet Day is a different thing, since I just adopted an already established commemoration).
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

I thought it sounded like the name of a town in Idaho. But he already had one fake town, and I didn't see reason to give him another.

This is wildly off subject, but the opening line of Post Malone's track Right About You reads:
"Would you still love me if we were down bad and out a home?"

But each time I hear it, I'm more certain it sounds exactly like:
"Would you still love me if we were down bad in Idaho?"

...and each time I find myself rather bemused at that possibility. :D
