Quote from: Sani on June 18, 2026, 05:34:28 PMYou can't tell thousands of DHS employees to go to work without someone in the chain of command mentioning it to their boss.
Thousands?  I never knew an individual port of entry required nearly so many.
Did you take into account supervisors, second line supervisors, facility manager office, support team, office for regulatort compliance, department of redundancy department, and both actual inspectors?
Four shifts needed to cover 24/7/365
Four shifts?  Captain Jellico approves.

Still, it appears that there are 35 or so lanes here.  Assuming we need to double that to account for the inside staff and double that again to account for support staff, then multiply by four for the shifts, that comes out to 560.  Even if I double that to fill in more of the chain of command, that comes out to 1120, so a bit over a thousand, rather than thousands plural.  And of course, most of the time most lanes are not open.

I simply won't believe this until it appears on WalletHub.

Let me try... :bigass:

Did the Ambassador Bridge finally start accepting E-ZPass, or did they make a mistake on their website (or both)?

Implies accepted: https://www.ambassadorbridge.com/auto-toll-rates/
https://www.ambassadorbridge.com/commercial/commercial-toll-rates/

Implies not accepted: https://www.ambassadorbridge.com/faqs/

Wondering if this will have a bigger push for push Breakaway Pass to be interoperable with SOMETHING else...

It's a quantum superposition of |accept> and |noaccept> vectors. That superposition is not an eigenvector of normal billing operator, but there is a perturbation due to a newly built bridge.

Not that bridge -- the one that Amtrak trains ran across.
Dolphinshit. Amtrak was specially designed to never cross any bridges.
