Hopefully the repairs on the US-75 bridges over Polecat Creek will be done before this really gets going.
I feel like ODOT should have rebuilt all of US 75 at once rather than these piecemeal interchange projects. By my count, this is the fourth separate project started within the past 2 years on US 75 in Tulsa. But I guess that's the result of budgeting shortfalls.


The REALLY stupid part is that there will be a four lane section from 77th to 80th. Three whole blocks. If they had added in three blocks of concrete US-75 would be 6+ lanes from 83rd to 41st street. It will probably cost double or more to come back later and add lanes to those three blocks, but I guess that now it's a complete new project for ODOT to manage and crow about when they finally do it.

Even for ODOT that's pretty fucking stupid.
