A couple chains missing from San Antonio that surprise me:

(1) Kroger (neither the main brand or sub-brands...nothing at all)

(2) Waffle House (everywhere else in Texas it seems)

There are also no TGI Fridays here, but it's different because they used to be here but have all closed.

Yes, I see Krispy Krunchys all over the place.  There are several around here in northern Nevada, mostly associated with the Golden Gate Petroleum gas station chain:



I don't think I've ever actually eaten Krispy Krunchy's chicken.  The gas station chicken that stands out as pretty good is from Minit Stop, which is a chain of c-stores at gas stations over in Hawaii.  (Hawaii is expensive; sometimes you need to give your credit card a break with gas station chicken rather than dinner at a regular restaurant.)

Yet another reason to hate them. If a gas station is so big that it beats records, there should be some truck parking at LEAST.
