No sign/logo for NB traffic anymore. Can see that one on old GSVs but lest is gone

Here is a similar sign for NS on US 1 south of Raleigh. Interesting to note that the sign on the other side of the bridge is also over the southbound lanes. This is a throwback to when US 1 was just a super-2 through there.

A former joint Pennsylvania RR & ICRR bridge SE of Decatur Illinois. (Now CN)

The PRR keystone and ICRR type script is very rusty but still there.



This line was part of the original Peoria, Decatur and Evansville, which was bought by the Illinois Central Railroad.

When the Terre Haute & Peoria Railroad was built the ROW was next to the PD&E to reach Decatur from Hervey City. The Vandalia Railroad absorbed the T&P, which was subsequently bought out by the Pennsylvania RR in 1917.

Sometime after WW2 the rail lines were merged to use a single ROW into Decatur.

In 1958, IDOT widened US-51 (now BUSN 51) and a new overpass was built. So the bridge contains both the PRR keystone (on the left) and the ICRR type script (on the right).

Conrail abandoned the ROW and their rights in 1980, and the ROW fell to Illinois Central as the sole owner.

Now CN operates over the ROW to Mattoon.

Not really "Vintage" as this is a new paint job, but in Washington, IL spanning above Peoria St/Business US 24, the Toledo, Peoria, and Western RR is beautifully spelled out and logo displayed also

Rainier Rail over SR 512 south of Tacoma, Washington.  Rainier Rail took possession of the Prairie Line south of the Tacoma city limits from the Port of Tacoma, and now mostly uses it for car storage, but they did put up this new, non-vintage sign over the freeway.

While on a trip to Kentucky this past weekend, I spotted this overpass in Madisonville, KY, on US 41 that still features some old IC logos on the sides of it:
