The final phase of the Springdale Northern Bypass was awarded a $24.4 million BUILD grant.

The construction start on that segment is estimated to be in December 2028.

There was an article last year that said construction on the final segment of the Springdale Northern Bypass wouldn't start until 2040 or later: https://nwacouncil.org/2024/08/29/412-bypass-aerial-2024/#:~:text=When%20completed%20in%20August%202026,the%20region's%20fast-rising%20population. If it does start in 2028, that will be an improvement.

Here are a couple of pictures I took on Saturday of the AR 612 project:

The eastern end of the project looks paved and ready to go.

I drove by this about like three weeks ago and it already looked close to being done, I know this project is months ahead of schedule, I'll probably make a trip back up there once it's open.

It will be great once the western leg of AR 612 and the extension of Airport Blvd. are completed. The bad news is that we will have to wait a long time for the eastern leg to be completed. I wish they could complete it sooner.
