Have been there before, and was there the morning after.

One to add that a lot of us probably have: I've driven CA 1 in Pacific Palisades.
I drove the PCH from Santa Monica to Kanan the last time I was in the Southland and also drove up to Mount Wilson, so I have no doubt I've driven through some old burns.

I35W bridge many, many times.
Old Sunshine Skyway several times.
Possibly the I95 in Philadelphia. Not sure of exact routes I took when I was there.
They managed to replace the old Lake St/Marshall Ave bridge before it collapsed. Did round trips on that several times a week.

I made a wrong turn and ended up driving all around Pacific Palisades when I was passing through (visiting the Getty Villa) in spring 2023. Basically the entire area I drove around is now burned. It's hard to even imagine the scale of the destruction there.

I took U.S. 74 Alternate on a whim through Chimney Rock and Lake Lure last June traveling east from Asheville to Charlotte. I love that area and took my time to enjoy it. Glad I did in hindsight. It was at night so there was zero traffic. I specifically took a good look at the entrance gate to Chimney Rock State Park (I have climbed it before) and the Flowering Bridge, which I never got to walk across but had planned to do so in the future.

During the day, I had driven from Asheville to Cherokee on the BRP for the first time ever. Now I only haven't driven it north of the Little Laurel Access at Bamboo, NC near Boone.
Keep right (not middle) except to pass!
