Eads Bridge 150th Anniversary

In addition to being Independence Day, today is also the 150^th anniversary of the opening of the Eads Bridge in St. Louis. The Eads Bridge is significant for being the oldest extant bridge across the Mississippi River and for being the first bridge ever built using steel. The National Park Service has been holding events in celebration of this milestone over the last few days and some of them are ongoing for a few more days.
