Looking ahead, requesting a point of clarification on seasons 11 and 12 (I know, I'm anal and I need to get a life):

QuoteSeason 11 (September 1 to late October): Post a picture of signage indicating a numbered exit off of a numbered expressway, where the number of the route has one of the specified ones digits, and the exit number ends in the other specified ones digit.
Season 12 (November 1 to late December): Post a picture of signage indicating a numbered exit off of a numbered expressway, where the number of the route has one of the specified tens digits, and the exit number contains the other specified tens digit.

Am I correct that the route is the one exiting FROM, not exiting TO?  For example, I-75 exit 27 to route 40 would be good for Ones digits 5 and 7, not 0 and 7?

That isn't even what the original post says anymore. The original post says this:
Quote from: paulthemapguy on November 20, 2024, 09:55:32 PMSeason 11, in September and October: I specify the ones digits, and you post the exit signage along a numbered expressway, wherein the expressway's route number and the exit number have the specified ones digits.
Season 12, in November and December: I specify the tens digits, and you post the exit signage along a numbered expressway, wherein the expressway's route number and the exit number have the specified tens digits.

Hopefully that clears it up.

If people would prefer, I COULD switch the rules so that the numbers subject to the day's criteria will be the exit number and the shield for the surface road that appears on the big guide sign. That might make things more fun and challenging. If you think this would be the better way to write the rules, feel free to sound off!

I prefer this rule change.  Like hotgogPi, it's how I originally interpreted the rule before I realized I had it wrong.  All other challenge photos have shown both digits, and I think this should follow.

May 29: Post signage indicating a concurrency between two routes, of which one route has a number ending in 3, and the other route has a number ending in 4.
May 30: Post signage indicating a concurrency between two routes, of which one route has a number ending in 3, and the other route has a number ending in 5.
May 31: Post signage indicating a concurrency between two routes, of which one route has a number ending in 3, and the other route has a number ending in 6.

An update on the potential rule change for Seasons 11-12: I am leaning toward changing the criteria to become specific to the exit number and the destination route that both appear on the big green guide sign posted along an expressway. This would go along with what a few of you have suggested. I have been playtesting the challenge with the rules set up in this fashion, and I am liking the results. I like to make the challenges difficult enough to be interesting, but not so difficult that the challenge becomes prohibitive to widespread participation. We certainly strike that balance with this modified rule set. Feel free to continue to provide your opinion on whether you like the rules the old way or the potential new way.
