August 24: Post the junction of a US highway with an 9 in the tens place and a separate US highway with a 9 in the tens place.
August 25: Feel free to post any retrospective stuff, summaries of your contributions to this season of the XY challenge, or discuss what we will see in September and October. I will stick to the original plan, requiring the posts to be based on the ones digit of the route numbers, of which one route will be an Interstate (or other nationwide motorway) and the other route will be a state/provincial route.

Tomorrow:

September 1: Post signage indicating an interchange between an Interstate and a non-Interstate, where both route numbers end in 0.
September 2: Post signage indicating an interchange between an Interstate and a non-Interstate, where one route number ends in 0 and the other route number ends in 1.

Agree the US highway season has been a lot of fun. And I'm wrapping it up with all parent/auxiliary combos.

US 97 and US 197, Shaniko Junction, OR:

US 95 and US 195 north of Lewiston, ID (I couldn't decide which of these two to post, so you get both):

Today concludes what I dubbed "Season 4". Thank you to everyone who has been sharing their photos of the various different important places around the US highway system!

September 1 will begin Season 5, which will continue until October 25. Season 5 will focus on the ones digits of routes that appear at interchanges where an Interstate meets a route of a different type. It will not matter which number belongs to the Interstate and which belongs to the other route. For example, if the required ones digits are 3 and 8, it will not matter whether the Interstate number is the one ending in 3 or the number ending in 8. So Interstate 78 at Pennsylvania 183 will work just fine, but an interchange with Interstate 43 at Wisconsin 28 will work fine as well!

September 1 will begin at (0,0) for the required ones digits. Then, on September 2, the digits required will be (0,1). September 3 will call for (0,2)**, and so on, until September 9. The next day, September 10, will ask for (1,1). The progression of digit pairs will follow the same pattern as in previous months.

What about (0,1)?

I assume Autoroutes would count for seasons 5 and 6 in place of Interstates.
