QuoteSeptember 28: Post the junction of an Interstate and a route of a different type, of which both routes end in a 3.

Jim

I have a bunch of Massachusetts 3/I-93 examples, so I'll go with an old one.

Approaching Massachusetts 3 and I-93 at what was then the eastern end of I-90 and the Mass Pike in Boston.  November 30, 2002.

I'll post this pair to show I-283 and Pennsylvania 283, both taken April 11, 2010.

From the PA Turnpike, showing both shields:

Just through the PA Turnpike toll booths, where the two routes actually meet:

They used to have the blue-and-white shields, must have been hasty replacements.

The Hawaii posts are a clever twist. I approve.

Contractor-installed after a 2015 construction project at this interchange; I-69 markers were added later.
