Unfortunately, I'll have to agree with you. The downfall was when they fired Mike Ditka over 30 years ago.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Apparently many Bears fans think Ditka wasn't anything and Buddy Ryan was the reason they won. Ditka did fail on the Saints.

I already spent my yearly 9/11 joke in another thread, but I can't not be amused by two doinked field goals hitting opposite uprights of the same goalpost about 20 minutes apart on September 11.

I hate the Bears

That's why I play fantasy so I can hate certain players for not playing good  :bigass:

Great Lakes Roads

Cowboys beat the Giants in OT
Eagles beat the Chiefs AGAIN, sending them 0-2
Colts upset the Broncos over a penalty
Cardinals beat the Panthers, going 2-0 for the first time since 2021

What a (mostly boring) slate of games for week 2!

Looks like Vikings and Bengals will both play their backup QBs against each other this coming weekend.
From the land of red, white, yellow and black.

Late in their game at Green bay on Thursday, two Washington players were down with ankle injuries.  I heard nothing more about them, how bad were they?

Austin Ekeler is out for the season. Torn Achilles.

Deatrich Wise Jr. is also out for the season. Quadriceps.

Jayden Daniels is questionable for this coming Sunday against the Raiders. Knee.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

Bummer. That makes the season less interesting. The Bengals seemingly cannot catch a break.

Once again, it looks like another long season for Bears fans, 0-2 and last in the NFC North...

Just some language nerd trash talk:

Word definitions can change over time.

In the original German, "jetzt" means "now".

But in English, "Jets" means the distant past
