Which "missing link" in the Interstate Highway System should be built next, and why?

The Bismarck-to-Nowhere Turnpike from the BBC's Interstate map

There's no image displaying for me.  I had no idea what you were talking about (and honestly, I still don't) before I put in the quote and Googling "BBC interstate map" didn't yield anything useful.

We got duplicate 84, 86, 87 and 88, let's finish out the 80s and duplicate ALL of them.
That'd be tough to do with I-80.
Not really.  Many roadgeeks already want to put I-80 on the LIE; instead of the usual proposals to overlap I-95 and take over much of I-295 and continue from there, just replace all of I-495 with no plan to connect.

What traffic law would it make the most sense to eliminate?

Quote from: Max Rockatansky on Today at 11:28:06 AMCalifornia pretty much did eliminate Jaywalking.  The law specifies a citation can only be given if there is a chance of collision with a vehicle.

If there is no chance of collision, then how could failure to yield even be established in the first place?

It can't be established.  Hence why I see it as largely legalizing most of what had been previously established as Jaywalking.

The plan is to have NBA refs determine if it was charging or not
That'll be great. All you have to do is bribe them.

What traffic law would it make the most sense to eliminate?

Two options:

UVC § 11-202 — Traffic-control signal legend

(c) — Steady red indication

1. — Vehicular traffic facing a steady circular red signal alone shall stop at a clearly marked stop line, but if none, before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection, or if none, then before entering the intersection, and shall remain standing until an indication to proceed is shown except as provided in subsection (c)3.

This law should be rescinded due to ambiguity.  What does it mean for traffic to be "alone"?  What if I have a passenger in the vehicle but he or she is asleep?  If the other person is facing the other way, does that still count as "facing" the signal?  What either driver of passenger is blind?  Does a pet qualify?  A driver cannot reasonably be expected to know when this particular statute is or is not being violated, so it should be done away with.

UVC § 11-301 — 301-Drive on right side of roadway – exceptions

(a) — Upon all roadways of sufficient width a vehicle shall be driven upon the right half of the roadway, except as follows:

1. — When overtaking and passing ...
2. — When an obstruction exists ...
3. — Upon a roadway divided into three marked lanes ...
4. — Upon a roadway restricted to one-way traffic ...

This law should be rescinded in order to increase capacity on standard two-lane highways.  Why let half the highway go unused?

It's no longer appearing for me either, probably because I hotlinked it from Discord. Here's a reupload that hopefully sticks around.
