Better yet, all state routes within that area have to use that shield too.

Apple users should prepare to encounter signs giving commands. PC and Android users should expect a different set of signs.

Cue Lamb Chop singing:

This is the interchange that never ends
It just goes on and on my friends
Some people started driving it not knowing what it was
And they'll continue driving it forever just because

Who should the main highway through your hometown be named for?

The Fresno city council seemingly already answered this when they renamed part of Kings Canyon Road (formerly CA 180 and Ventura Street) in honor of Cesar Chavez.  It wasn't put to public vote and the majority consensus on social media seems to be widely not in favor.

The only famous person I know of who was born in the same town I was is former Redskins quarterback Robert Grffin III. But giving his name wouldn't fit the intent of this thread. So instead perhaps they could name a street after Gen. John Bell Hood, the Confederate general after whom nearby Fort Hood was originally named (it's now named for Col. Robert Hood instead), in order to ensure he is still remembered.

I suppose a famous person did attend the local high school while my mother was a teacher there (she never met him): Michael Stipe, later of REM.

Who should the main highway through your hometown be named for?

Lars Vargas, the Norwegian-Spanish early settler from which the city of Las Vegas takes its name. (Lars Vargas is credited with inventing many unique aspects of Vegas culture, including the combination tattoo parlor and gas station, the resort fee, and setting off fireworks in the middle of February for no apparent reason.)

Let's say there's a toll road somewhere that requires something other than money. What would the toll be?

French fries. This would be convenient because you could go through the drive thru and they hand you the bag through the window, then you could drive up to the toll booth and hand the bag right back into a different window. (This method of operating is called the "Windows operating system".)
